Tom Nechville is always innovating to meet the changing needs of modern musicians. Replacing more than seventy parts of a traditional banjo, the Nechville patented Heli-Mount system tightens together much like a jar on a lid; greatly reducing the assembly time and improving the banjo’s sound. Tom Nechville has spent years in development and in consultation with the world’s top players researching and finding ways to meet the needs of professionals. The result is a state-of-the-art instrument with modern styling and traditional in sound.
Echoing of the Ashborn Banjos of the 1860’s that feature block-style construction and a built-in wooden flange, this Nechville-Sagmoen collaboration is sure to get the attention of the entire banjo community. The Atlas is the first example of Nechvilles use of his patented Flux Capacitor in a “Flex-Tone” hybrid production banjo. It combines the old standard hook and nut style pot with an adjustable Nechville neck for portability and rapid set up for any style of playing.
