Orders & pre-orders
The current lead time for new orders is 4–6 months from the day of purchase. Please contact us for model availability or an update on your order.
Payment options
- Pay in full: full payment when you place your order.
- Two payments: 50% when you order and 50% when your banjo is ready to ship.
- Three payments: 33% when you order, 33% after 90 days, and the remaining balance when your banjo ships.

Careful setup, personal attention
Barry Waldrep brings decades of playing and setup experience to Shelby American Banjos. His approach starts with the neck, rim, and tone ring working together, with careful attention to action and playability. If you have questions about the feel or care of your instrument, we are happy to help.
Shelby warranty
Shelby American Banjos offers a transferable warranty covering structural issues. Maintenance items—including heads, bridges, strings, and normal fret wear—are not covered.
