Deering Julia Belle 5-String Banjo

Wow! Deering Banjos has created another beautiful handcrafted piece of art. We are talking about the Deering Julia Belle banjo, now in-stock. This 24 fret, low tuned banjo is a unique collaboration between Deering Banjo Company, Allison Brown, and John Hartford.  John Hartford is of course no stranger to Deering’s private collection of banjos, we stock almost all of Deering’s private collection including the John Hartford signature model.

The banjo features a Hartford Grenadillo tone ring and a premium violin grade 3 ply maple rim. The tone ring produces a “big round tone” with exceptional bass and sweet highs. Deering further describes the tone by adding that there is a “woody ringing tone”. As with every Deering banjo, the Julia Belle comes with a lifetime warranty.
